Rachael: where were you born?
Shelley: I was born in London Ontario into a family with 6 kids -- fun!
Rachael: where did you go to school?
Shelley:I went to public school and had tons of friends.
Rachael: What is your favorite tradition?
Shelley: A favourite family tradition is our annual Christmas Eve party. This year there were 70 people!
Rachael: Whats your favorite book?
Shelley: My favourite book is a hard question -- I have so many. Maybe Fifth Business by Robertson Davies.
Rachael: what is your favorite music?
Shelley: I love all kinds of music, but Robbie Robertson's 'Blue Train' might be at the top.
Rachael: Do you have experience with horses? it seems so in the book?
Shelley: Yes, I raise and train horses. I don't think I could write about horses without a lot of experience.
