The Divine Dance, written by Shannon Kubiak Primico is about not dancing for the world but dance for God. Shannon uses analogies from the dance studio. She covers modesty from dancing for God and how to do it. She tells young girls to take off our glittery mask that conceals who we really are. We are trying to perform for the World and catch their attention. What I liked most of all about this book was she covered the topic about modesty very well

necessities for business either if you are considering of making a business. If you are a manager of a

business. With tips from the inspiration of the business to making a good reputation of the business to

customers. She tells you how you can make 1+1= 10 in a business. Not only is this just a manual for a

business but she tells from her own experience at build a bear workshop and how she started it, stories

from her child hood, examples and advice.

I felt like I had a insider on build a bear workshop. for build a bear fans any ages!

I Dared To Call Him Father, written by Bilquous Shiekh and coauthored by Richard H. Schneider is an autobiography of a Muslim higher class lady, and how she became a Christian. She was 45 years old when one day she sensed a very weird and uncanny presence, she was told to read the Koran when she told of her experience. From there she wanted a Bible, asked her chauffeur for a Bible, he was scared. From there, she became a Cristian and gave her life to God. She learned to feel God's presence and how it left if she didn't follow him. She was abandoned by her family but she still held on to her faith.

I liked this book, I especially liked how the author told of the chauffeur books clicking and the furnishings of the house, its the best autobiography I have read of a convert. I suggest this book for 13 years and up

The Start Bible for new believers, NKJV, revised by Greg Laurie with an introduction to the Bible, and settings of each book of the Bible. It's like your studying with Greg Laurie with his study notes on the side from him. I really liked the Start! Bible I wanted to carry it around around with me all the time. The cover could easily bend but other then that, I really liked it. It's basic for new believers.

City On Our Knees, by Tobymac, coauthored by Todd Hafer and Rick Killian,is a compilation of stories about people stepping out of their comfort zones and doing something for God. Stories range from a girl who had cancer and started raising funds for research, to the story of an American in the Haiti earthquake trapped under the rubble.

Not only are there recent stories but also stories of heroes of the faith in past centuries such as George Muller and John Wesley. The book is sprinkled with inspiring quotes and Bible verses along with excerpts from Tobymac. The story that jumped out at me the most was the story of one of Hitler's youth, Hans Scholl, who gave a white rose to a Jewish girl in a concentration camp to show his kindness. I'd suggest this book for 14 year olds and up.

The End of the Age, a novel by Pat Robertson, starts with a flaming asteroid from space coming to earth destroying California. It gets worse from there with earthquakes, volcanic ash, flooding and inflation. America needs a leader and President Mark Beaulieu steps up talking about unity and peace. People love him, except for a few Jews and Christians. He is the Antichrist.

Pat's novel writing style seems poorly developed. Important events come across to the reader as insignificant because he doesn't focus on them. For example, in a few lines he tells of a person breaking his neck over a wire and dying instantly and then its over.  Horrific flooding in Venice causes dams to break but is hardly noticed by the reader.  The whole event is glossed over. Also, it's difficult to follow the time that passes in Robertson's writing. Time isn't very consistent.  Whole years may elapse in just paragraphs while other events are given pages of detail. I lost track of how many years actually did pass.

While Pat had good ideas to convey about the end of the world coming, the story line was poorly developed and  some parts of his book  read more like a newspaper than a novel. The characters that populate this story are flat and stereotypical. But, I have to admit, I couldn't put this book down very easily. It's still a thrilling read for 13 year olds and up.

I rate it 2 out of 5 stars.
